Last Saturday was our friend Micah's birthday. He is also the guitarist in my husbands band. I actually used a guitar string package on the card. Hidden inside the package was a guitar pick necklace that I made him. This card is a large one, as I felt that I needed more space for everything that I wanted to include. I have used the impression obsession rocker stamp many times before, I just love it! Thanks again for stopping by on my creative adventures, see you soon.

Pretty Peacock
I really love feathers, all feathers. Peacock feathers are so beautiful, this one is by Impression Obsession. The peacock itself is a Graphic 45 stamp. The cute banner is by Penny Black. My new favorite stencil is used in the background. It is a Memory Box one that looks like tiny diamonds. I was going to put a sentiment on this, but decided to wait. I imagine it as a birthday card, or even a get well card, it would work for just about anything. Thanks again for stopping by.

Sewing Tag
It is Tag Tuesday again! I just love making them. I went with one of my favorite themes: sewing. These are some older Studio 490 stamps, but they are new to me. The button die is by Die-Namics. Of course, the sewing patterns, are genuine vintage. There are also some real stick pins and a real needle and thread included. I think adding items like these really make a project " pop". Thanks again for stopping by and sharing my creative adventures with me.

world of reality
I got to get away for a night with my sweet husband. We both needed to get some rest and just relax. I did not have a chance to play today, but I had this put aside from last week. I had a lot of fun using the index card tags that I cut out earlier. The plane is a Taylored Expressions die that I have had for awhile, but had not used. I really like it! I love the look that the black crepe paper added to the tag. Thanks again for stopping by!

Eiffel Tower - Paris
The other day I cut a bunch of tags out of "vintage" index cards. I know they are not really that old, but they have aged to a wonderful color. I have been using them to make travel themed tags. Now I know most of us aren't traveling to Paris, but lots of people are on vacation at some point this summer. My daughter is obsessed with anything Parisian right now. I found these older Tim Holtz stamps very cheap a while back, but hadn't used them. I finally did, and I love how this turned out. I hope you are inspired to travel, or at least relax some this summer. Thanks again for stopping by.

Lovely Bird in a Flight
I have to admit I whipped this up rather quickly a few weeks ago. I had some friends over and was demonstrating a variety of products and techniques, and then we "played". This is what I did: I layered 3 stencils, then stamped and embossed the bird, and lastly I spritzed it all using Tim Holtz's distress marker spritzer. Thanks again for stopping by on my creative adventure.
Steampunk Tag
It is time for Tag Tuesday. This time I did a lot of fussy cutting with some older Donna Salazar papers. I had so much fun with it. I am hoping to get a new step by step tutorial up soon, it has been awhile. This Thursday is make & take at Stamp-N-Toys in North Webster, Indiana. If you are in the area between 10:30-7:00, please stop in and join us. See you soon!

4-H auction gift tag
Last week went way to fast, and got away from me. The 4-H fair is a lot for all involved, but worth it. Ella's chickens were auctioned off and this is the tag and goodies that we gave to the buyer. It was actually a group of wonderful friends that went together to support her in this. We are so blessed to have all of them in our lives. We can not thank them enough.

More 4-H
I am really late getting to this tonight, but I made it! I am still enjoying this weeks theme. I hope you are inspired to get out to your county fair this summer, if it has not yet passed. It is great to support the local kids in all they do and learn throughout the year in 4-H. Thanks again for joining me in my creative adventures!

Lots of 4-H Luck
Tag Tuesday is here!
I am continuing with the 4-H theme/ farm critters week. I am really happy with how this turned out! I think this would make a great tag for a gift bag with some good luck " goodies" in it. I think I might do some more up to put away for next year. I know if I don't do them now, I will forget until it's too late. Thanks again for stopping by, check back soon. As always, if you have any questions about products used or techniques, etc. please just ask.

Moo-chas Gracias
Well it is finally time for the Kosciusko County 4-H Fair, so I thought I might focus this week on farm critters. This card is for my daughters 4-H leader, they show cows. I put a chicken, which we do, on the inside. I had a lot of fun working on this. I hope to get many more of these done this week. There are many people we need thank you cards for that help us town folks with 4-H. I have lots of stamps and papers all ready to go, so please check back soon.
