Today's card was quick and easy. I think I have been using butterflies a lot lately due to my need for Spring to really be here.
I started with a pattern paper I found in my stash. The stencil I used is shattered glass by Clear Scraps.
The butterfly is from a Memory Box die, it is cut out of cardboard.
I inked it up with dusty concord Distress Ink.
I removed the stencil and put the cut out back on.
I then outlined with a distress market in the same color.
I went back and added the antenna and body.
I just inked up the edges some.
To finish it off I die cut a Cheery Lynn ribbon border and ran some vintage trim through it. I also added a Tim Holtz stamp.
See how simple it was. I hope you like it as much as I do. Well there are still a few openings for our classes this Friday at Stamp-N-Toys in North Webster. You have the option of 11:00 a.m. or 3:00 p.m. We will make 3 different cards for only $10.00. It is always a fun time. Thanks and see you soon.
