Easter Greetings?

I decided to organize my holiday vintage postcards today. I also had decided to use an entire postcard today in my project, so the search began.

This is the one that I decided on. I love everything about it, except the greeting. Does this look like an Easter card to you?

It is going to be slightly larger than the cards I normally make. I chose some vintage lace trim in a soft blue to cover the sides. It brings out the blue in the sky.

I just used a couple of glue lines to attach them.

I ran a gold Krylon leafing pen around the whole card to pop it a bit. It had some around the center picture already.

I added 3D glue dots to the back before placing it over the trim.

Here it is so far.

I chose a fence die and a grass one to use after the next step. I think they are both Memory Box dies, but not completely sure.

Now I got some glue and dyed Spanish moss.

I added some to the bottom of the card. This covers up the greeting pretty good.

Next I glued the fence over the moss.

I cut out the grass die and glued it to the left side. I tucked it down into the moss, which I went back and added some more of.

I thought it needed a few flowers. I could not find any die ones that looked right, and then I remembered these. They are tiny rose buds that I think were used a lot in wedding type bouquets back in the 80's-90's. Maybe they are still around, not sure.

Here is a close up of the corner. I think it came together pretty well.

I did not add a card back yet. I may just use it as decor for now. I really like it. Feel free to let me know what you think. Thanks again for stopping, I hope you come back tomorrow.
