A new week = a new theme. I will be doing cookie cards.
I bought this great cookie cookbook last week when I got the book on oranges. This one is from 1955 and has some cool retro artwork.
This is the page I color copied onto card stock .
I decided to color the boy first. It is hard to tell, but the raindrops are actually chocolate chips. What a creative idea for a cookbook picture.
Here it is a bit closer. Can you see the one landing in his mouth?
This paper is by TPC Studio. I used the colors from this for my color scheme for the card. I am going to use some of these oven mitts as quick and inexpensive embellishments. Paper is so versatile like that.
I decided to add a few strips from the coordinating paper.
So easy and cute. An avid baker might enjoy this as a birthday or thinking of you card. Of course anyone that likes cookies would also like it. Come back tomorrow to share some more in my creative adventure. Thanks for stopping by.
you're making me hungry!!!
