My Tuesday Tag has some busy little bees. I got this tag out of the same drawer as yesterday's card back. It turned out so sweet.
This is how I found the tag. I must have been experimenting with honeycomb stencils.
I took some rusty hinge Distress Ink to it with a foam applicator to blend it all together.
I also found this in the drawer. It was an embossing folder I was trying out. I had already rubbed some brown ink over it to bring the honeycomb design out.
I changed the color by first applying mustard seed, and then going over it with frayed burlap. Now they are the perfect color.
I found this great beehive stamp in my stash. I stamped it in walnut stain and then clear embossed it.
Here is a close-up. It has some cool colors going on in the background, another scrap piece.
I stamped this sweet verse on with potting soil Archival Ink.
I stamped these little bees, fussy cut them, and then curled their wings up for flight dimension.
Just about there. It just needs some ribbon or lace to finish it off.
Well I am really enjoying the bee theme. You might want to buzz back by tomorrow for another one. Thanks again for stopping by!
