Love the Library

Today's class at the library was lots of fun, even though it included only a couple of people. I know the weather and road conditions were a huge factor. So a big thanks to those that braved it! The 3 cards we did focused on various ways to use stencils. I can't seem to get enough of them.

For this one I used ink for the heart and then cut it out. Love was done with markers. The first time with pink. The second with brown, I made it look like stitching. The arrow was markers, but could have been done with ink also. These were all on one stencil by Want2Scrap.

The hearts were paper pierced through a sewing stencil, and then painted with distress stain. The cherub was a die that I cut out of acrylic to make the stencil. Then it was inked and embossed.

These mini hearts were inked and then heat set. The stencil was put back on and I applied translucent embossing paste over some of the hearts. This was also by Want2Scrap. Time for bed, I am leaving early in the morning for a day trip to Ohio. I am not sure if I will be back early enough to make a project. So have a great weekend and please stop by next week.
